| Story Theater: Making Content Come Alive |
Live Coaching on Signature Stories |
|
Doug Stevenson says that as a speaker, it's not what you say that is important, it's what your audience remembers. It's not only about content; it's about connection. Your audience can't begin to remember all of your content, but they do remember your stories and how your stories made them feel.
With his proven Story Theater Method, you can quickly learn to use stories effectively to make a point, communicate your vision, or sell a product or service. Doug will share acting and comedy techniques that you can implement right away to make your stories more engaging and effective. He'll also coach a few volunteers on their stories so you can see how subtle acting techniques increase the impact, humor and power of a story.

In the afternoon session -- a fabulous value at only $30 for members -- Doug moves from theory into practice. For only $30, members get a chance to see Doug take a peer's signature story and fine-tune it during the session. Watch how staging, emotion, dramatic pacing, comedy structure and timing take a story from good to amazing. Doug will work with volunteers in the session. We can't guarantee that every attendee will have the opportunity to work directly with Doug (depending on the number who stay for the afternoon), but you know that often you gain more insight from hearing the feedback others receive. Either way, don't miss this once-in-five-years opportunity to learn from a master story teller. |
